Twig’s BIO
Since the age of 8 Twig has studied such martial arts of Shotokan Karate, Jui Jitsu, Judo and Chinese Kenpo. Now recently for 24 years he has emerged himself into Bruce Lee’s art of Jeet Kune Do. More than just a fighting style, Jeet Kune Do has helped Twig in continually perfecting himself in everything he does; self defense, body training, problem solving, writing, personal training, working and “everyday living”.
Using Jeet Kune Do’s concepts Twig has trained athletes that played and are still playing with The Lakers Basketball Team, The Rockets Basketball Team and The Ravens Football Team.
Jeet Kune Do’s concept of “the way of intercepting the fist” pushes an individual to recognize and reach efficiency.
Twig is Paul Vunak’s top weapons student. Paul Vunak is Dan Inosanto’s top fighting student. Dan Inosanto is Bruce Lee’s top student. In the world of martial arts it is frequently said that “He who understands weapons understands “empty hands” even more.
